Meet Katrina Tessier
Katrina Tessier is a mother & business owner who is passionate about advocating for families.
She has years of experience working with expecting & new parents, creating community & helping families connect to resources to thrive as parents. She has board experience holding the co-chair position on the Manitoba Association of Childbirth & Family Education board from 2023-2025.
Core Commitments
Building Strong Foundations
Advocating for more early years resources to help kids start strong in their education by allocating more funding to support systems such as additional EAs and other resource workers.
Engage the Community
Help create a space where the needs of families, teachers, and the community can be heard within the school system and improve current systems for communication between teachers and parents.
Inclusive and Equitable Schools
Every student should feel welcome, safe, and supported in their school. Children deserve a learning space free from racism, ableism, homophobia, and xenophobia.
